Pickers & Grinners Open-Air Markets are located at Limestone Park at the intersection of East Second and Limestone streets in Downtown Maysville. These markets/events, allow us to showcase local and regional Producers, who specialize in a diversity of small businesses such as farm and artisan based specialties.
How do I know if my products will be appropriate for this market?

Many of the producers are registered with Kentucky and Ohio Proud. The farmers who participate in the markets practice organic methods to grow their fruits and vegetables and the livestock farms feature meats that are sourced with minimal added hormones, antibiotics, fillers and other unnecessary chemicals. These producers use sustainable practices to raise the foods we eat. Our vendors offer a variety of foods including jams, jellies, mustards, pickles, cornmeal, salsas, specialty meats and seasonally fresh produce.
In addition to local food producers, we also showcase regional designers who are diverse in their artistic specialties. These crafters and artisans have some things in common: their items are handcrafted and are often made from materials they’ve grown and produced in our rural Ohio Valley setting. Some of these products include: jewelry, soaps, and candles as well as wreaths and clothing made from locally harvested fibers.
In addition to our visual artists we feature local musicians, performing artists and health practitioners. The diversity of talented individuals in our area is inspiring to our committee, and it’s important that we represent this diversity in our events.
Pickers & Grinners does not supply tents or tables. Request electrical connection, if needed, on application.

Pickers & Grinners Open-Air Market Schedule
Upcoming Pickers & Grinners Markets are scheduled for Saturdays – June 16, Oct. 27, and Dec. 7, 2018. More information will be released as plans are finalized.
